Why I created the 1-2-1 CEO Programme (and who it’s for)

I’ll be honest: I designed the 1-2-1 CEO Programme because it would have helped me.

When you run your own business, you often know what needs doing. That was always my problem. I couldn’t always see the value in a business consultant, because I could usually spot the answer myself. A coach didn’t feel like an option, because I didn’t have the time. And more training? Definitely not. The last thing I needed was another to-do list.

So I created the process myself. What I learnt is that knowing what to do and having the space to do it are two very different things. And if you’ve ever sat in the car after a difficult day wondering how much more you can carry, you’ll know how lonely that can feel. I built an award-winning company and sold it fifteen years later, and I know how success can look impressive from the outside while feeling overwhelming on the inside.

If you’re close to burnout

You’re still turning up. You’re still making the decisions, answering the messages and holding it all together. But you’re running on empty, and the idea of taking on one more thing, even something designed to help, feels impossible.

This programme doesn’t add to your plate. We start by working out what’s actually going on and what can come off your list, protecting your energy and health as part of the conversation.

If life outside work is making everything harder

Business doesn’t happen in a bubble. Family pressures, health worries, a relationship under strain, a year that has thrown more than its share at you. When life gets heavy, the business feels heavier too.

Here, there’s room for all of it. You can swear, shed a tear, laugh out loud, and nobody will think less of you. We build a plan that fits the life you really have.

If you want to take over the world

Maybe you’re not struggling at all. You’re ready for your next big move, and you want to do it properly. You’ve got ideas, ambition and momentum, but too many competing priorities and not enough hours to chase them all.

I help you turn those ideas into priorities, and those priorities into manageable projects with a clear agenda for change, so your ambition is built on foundations that will hold.

What working with me looks like

The programme runs for four to six months, based on one day in your business every week or every two weeks.

I don’t hand over a report and leave you to get on with it. I sit with you. We work through it together, alongside your team where it helps, and we put changes into practice in real time. I share the load, so you aren’t left with homework.

Everything we build, whether that’s a process, a way of communicating or a framework, is designed so your team can own it and run it without me. I measure success by how well things hold up after I’ve left the room.

Not sure if it’s right for you?

That’s what the free consultation is for. It’s a relaxed conversation, with no pressure, to see whether my skills match what you need. If they do, we’ll talk about where to start. If they don’t, you’ll leave with a clearer idea of what would help.

If you’ve been thinking “I know what I need to do, I just haven’t had the time to do it,” come and have a chat.
